Dr Julian Lewis M.P. praises T.A.S. Members Julian Lewis M.P. was the guest of honour at the Annual Summer Exhibition pre-view evening on Thursday 28th August. Introduced by Anne Hamerton, Dr. Lewis, relaxed and speaking without notes, com-mended the social contribution made by the Totton Art Society. He also praised the standard of the work on display. FROM RUTH EDWARDS OUR PRESIDENT Although it’s a few months ago now, I would once again like to thank everyone for the beautiful flowers presented to me at the A. G.M. on my retirement from the Committee and for all the support given to me by the Committee and the members over the years. One of the best things I’ve ever done, was to join the Art Society, for which I thank Betty Carlin, who introduced me to it some 22 years ago; and I feel very honoured to be its President.
