CHRISTMAS ART

It's Christmas time yet once again

With snow scenes done in paint or pen,

But let's look back to what we've done

Along the year that's been great fun.

 

Our Totton Artists who demonstrate

Are brilliant, fun and really great,

With Di, our pastels have improved,

In oils with Anne, we've really moved,

With Ruth, our trees have really grown

And now she's President on the throne.

 

Giggleswick, they had great fun,

With Autumn trees, but not much sun.

In the evenings they had a laugh,

A dram or two to keep out the draught.

We hope we all enjoy next year,

And do our paintings - without fear?? Experiment in many ways,

Doing mountains, or maybe waves (John Shotter!)

 

Our resident artists we should thank

Some more mince pies or wine we drank,

Season's Greetings to one and all,

Let's keep painting and have a ball!

Merry Christmas, be of good cheer,

Thanks to All, and a Happy New Year.
