PASTEL WORKSHOP
Sheila Langley gave
an introduction to the subject, with useful advice on how to choose and
use soft pastels.
Di Alexander described
basic techniques in applying soft pastels for portraits and led a workshop
on creating a face.
Claire Palmer demonstrated
painting a landscape using soft pastels.
After the lunch break
members worked on their own paintings.
Mary Austin kindly
presented bouquets to all three workshop leaders.
