A WORD FROM ANNE

We did it. Yes we have our Canon Camcorder MV800 and the Canon Projector LVS4 which we purchased from Jessops. They also threw in a bag, case and tapes free of charge. As I said at our A.G.M., I know it was chaos on our first attempt of using the equipment but it WILL get better. The next time we will need to use it will be in June and then hopefully, the manager of Jessops will come and set it up for us. He has offered to do this. Harry Yearsley will then take control of the equipment and hopefully will have some fun with it also.
David Jary has resigned as Vice Chairman and Gary Lewis has been elected to take his place. We thank David for being so supportive over the years. He has been a great help and I know everyone liked it when he stood in for me.

SHEILA LANGLEY

Sheila Langley

Sheila created the role of membership secretary more than two years ago. Since then, she has diligently dealt with subscriptions and enquiries with great efficiency. Now she is moving, she has resigned and Helen Davies has volunteered to take on the role. We all hope that Sheila will remain with us as long as possible, and thank her very much for all that she has done for us.

FRANCOISE WELCH

Francoise Welch

Francoise in Party Mood

Francoise has lent her enthusiastic support to the society in many ways, helping with sales, exhibitions, teas and most recently public relations as publicity officer. This spring she and her husband are moving to France and Mary Austin has agreed to step into the breach. We shall miss her warmth, her enthusiasm and not least, her outspoken comments at demonstration evenings! We wish her well in her new home.
