FROM ANNE HAMERTON, T.A.S. CHAIRMAN

What a summer exhibition we had this year, and our sales were up on last year. We actually sold 46 paintings. Well done to those who sold!

Having the sponsorship from Mr. Gibbs was such a boost. It enabled us to have the RAC road signs - which we feel sure brought in more visitors - the new TAS sign which St Dismas made for us and Alina Jenkins to open the exhibition. Wasn't she great? So down to earth.

I think the highlight, for me personally, was having two new honorary members - Pat Weller and Mary Maskell. Mary also won the best painting competition with her painting of Ripples at Testwood Lake.

Lastly just a reminder. Don't forget our Christmas Party this year. We will be entertained by a magician, and also hold our usual Christmas draw. Please could you all bring a little something to eat that evening, and wine and soft drinks will be supplied. Tickets for the evening will be on sale at our next meeting and can be purchased from Bunny Austin for £1.50
