Yes! Yes! Yes! We've done it again - another wonderful exhibition! There's been so many lovely comments made about it: "Excellent", "Brilliant", "Great" and many others. We noticed particularly - when taking in and hanging the paintings - the variation in subject matter, colours and styles of the pictures. It gave us quite a challenge in hanging to give them all the best effect, to get the right balance of colour, tone, shape, etc. But it was lovely to see how many people were getting more adventurous - breaking out and trying successful new ideas - and showing more confidence with their artwork.
The Preview Evening was a great success as always. Seeing the surprise
and pleasure on Pat's face on being presented with honorary membership
and Mary's puzzled expression wondering whoever was Anne talking about,
as she was about to receive hers, added a lighter note to the evening.

There are so many people to thank for making the exhibition so successful
and enjoyable. Thanks go to Alina for opening the exhibition and to Mr
Gibbs, whose sponsorship enabled us to afford the R.A.C. signs, which
were a huge success. Very many thanks for all the hard work and effort
put in by the committee members and many others who joined in, and gave
a helping hand. Also to all the artists and the lovely pictures produced
for the exhibition - without them we wouldn't have one! Thank you and
congratulations to you all.
