Hashim Akib

Successful SAA 2009 Artist of the year Hashim Akib usually paints in acrylics. His style appears abstract close-up, but vividly colourful from farther away.

Marilyn Allis

Dorset artist Marilyn is best known for her paintings of animals and human figures. She is an SAA professional artist and teacher as well as exhibiting locally and in London. She paints strong shapes and colours using watercolours and inks. Look out for her books and DVD.

Marine artist and winner of the Society of Amateur Artists' Artist of the Year Competition in 2000 and 2002. Roy uses oils and acrylics and is an enthusiastic promotor of the S.A.A

Ali Lindley

SAA Artist of the Year 2010 and member of the Society of Women Artists, Ali works in watercolour and mixed media. Her expressive semi-abstract style celebrates natural forms.She exhibits locally with fellow artists at Hilliers Arboretum,with her local Chandlers Ford Art Society and at the Contemporary Gallery at Port Solent. Ali demonstrates for art societies and her workshops are extremely popular.
